Tanglewood Elementary hosted its annual Fall Carnival last Friday. The event was open to the community, with an estimated 500 families in attendance. The carnival included booths with games, arts and crafts, food, and other items and activities such as moon bounces and inflatable slides.
“The carnival is more of a community event for everyone to enjoy than a fundraiser to make money,” said Brooke Whitworth, co-chairperson of the event.
Each class at Tanglewood sponsored a booth, said Whitworth. This year a new flip book booth and hair painting station were two of the most the popular activities.
