The TCU football team dropped a spot Sunday in both the Associated Press poll and Coaches Poll.
The Horned Frogs (2-0 overall, 1-0 Big 12) fell from No. 16 to No. 17 in the AP poll and from No. 15 to No. 16 in the Coaches Poll. Check out the complete rankings here.
TCU beat Kansas 20-6 on the road Saturday for its first Big 12 win in its league debut. The Frogs play Virginia at home Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled for 11 a.m.
A few notables from the latest rankings included:
- Every Big 12 team, except Kansas, received at least a vote in both polls. Six league teams were ranked in the Coaches Poll and five in the AP poll.
- USC dropped to No. 13 in the AP poll and No. 12 in the Coaches Poll. The Trojans, who lost Saturday night to Stanford, entered the week ranked 2nd in both polls.
- Along that same note, Stanford moved up 12 spots to No. 9 in the AP and up five spots to No. 11 in the Coaches.
