The university website, www.tcu.edu, will début a new design in the coming weeks meant to update and improve on the current look, according to a university press release. Victor Neil, director of Website Management, said it was time to update the current website with a new look and functionality.

According to the press release, the new tcu.edu website will retain all major functions of the previous website, with added navigation features such as a new video library and improved functionality of campus maps. The university’s News and Events page will also have a new look to match.

The decision to update the current website was based on research on functionality and usability. The university is also working on a user-friendly mobile site allowing users to access the site from mobile devices and machines that are not Flash-enabled.
