TCU junior Hayden Bowers passed away at an off-campus location this weekend, according to a campus-wide e-mail from Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Don Mills.

“Hayden was well-liked by his many friends at TCU. He will be missed dearly,” Mills wrote in the e-mail.

According to gofrogs.com, Bowers was a fullback on the 2010-2011 Horned Frog football team. He was a 2008 graduate of Austin High School in Austin, Texas.

According to Mills’ e-mail, TCU counselors are available to assist in the grieving process. For immediate assistance, the campus community it advised to call Campus Police at 817-257-7777. Campus residents are encouraged to speak with hall directors or resident assistants if needed.
