    14th Annual Fort Worth’s Gay and Lesbian International Film Festival
    1. Over a decade ago, a local film festival started at TCU as a discussion group. Now, the 14th Annual Fort Worth’s Gay and Lesbian International Film Festival runs now through Sunday at the Rose Marine Theater. Tickets vary in pricing depending on how many programs you plan to attend. More information can be found here. 

    Travis Tritt
    2. “Well I smell T-R-O-U-B-L-E!” Travis Tritt takes the stage on Saturday night at 10:30 p.m. at Billy Bob’s Texas. The World’s Largest Honky Tonk is sure to be a boot scootin’ time. More information about the event can be found here.

    Central Market
    3. The National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame is celebrating Dale Evans’ birthday Friday night and all day Saturday. Join folks at Central Market in Fort Worth Friday night for music by the Texas Trailhands. Saturday there will be a variety of programs at the museum, free with admission.     Fort Worth Cats
    4. The Fort Worth Cats play at LaGrave Field Saturday night with first pitch set at 8:05 and again Sunday for a doubleheader starting at 3:35 p.m. Be sure to check out their Facebook and Twitter accounts for the most up-to-date information and special events!

    Snow White and the Huntsman
    5. The summer blockbusters are starting to roll out in royal style. Snow White and the Huntsman premieres Friday night. The Top Critics from RottenTomatoes.com already give the film a 75 percent. Be sure to watch it at any of the Fort Worth Movie Taverns, information found here.

    Central Market no. 2
    6. Come hear all your favorite songs from The Byrds, The Beatles, REM and Tom Petty covered by Back Pages Saturday night at Central Market. From 6 to 9 p.m. you can hear the band play on the patio, also be sure to step inside and grab dinner from the Central Market Herban Eatery Assault Truck (H.E.A.T.), a food truck featuring build-your-own burgers, homemade fries, and weekly specials.

    Fort Worth Botanical Garden
    7. Concerts in the garden start on Friday night at the Fort Worth Botanical Garden for the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra. Friday, Saturday and Sunday night feature trombones, alternative country and Elvis respectively. All concerts start at 8:15 p.m. with more ticket information here.
