Texas country artist Hudson Moore will perform Tuesday night as part of the Texas Music Tuesdays concert series at the 1873 Sports Grill & Café.

His debut single “Fireworks” was released on iTunes Sept. 25 and the album, also titled “Fireworks,” was released a month later. The album is currently sitting at No. 6 on the Texas Music Chart this week, and has been on the chart for 16 weeks total.

review of his new album on iTunes said, “Take a little bit of John Mayer, some Jason Mraz, and sprinkle a little bit of Rob Thomas on it with country twang and you get Hudson Moore. Every artist wishes they could have had a freshman album that is this good.”

Moore, a Fort Worth native, has headlined at Billy Bob’s and performed at Austin City Limits and South by Southwest in Austin, Texas.  He has opened for artists like Cory Morrow, ZZ Top, Alan Jackson, Pat Green, Robert Earl Keen, Josh Abbott, Casey Donahew and Reckless Kelly.

The free concert will feature free t-shirt giveaways by KTCU, free music sampler CDs and a chance to win a guitar signed by each artist in the Texas Music Tuesdays series.

Four pairs of tickets to see Stoney LaRue on Nov. 9 and Wade Bowen on Nov. 10 at Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill in Dallas, Texas will also be given away. These tickets include meet and greet backstage passes.

The concert will begin at 9 p.m. Tuesday night.
