TCU volleyball fell 3-0 to No. 7 Texas in their eighth straight loss.

In the second meeting between the teams this season, Texas defeated TCU 25-17, 25-16, and 25-17 at Wednesday evening’s game.

Sophomore Mattie Burleson led the offense with nine kills while Senior Meghan Horio contributed 11 digs.

The Frogs now hold a 2-8 Big 12 record. UT left the match 11-0, putting them atop the Big 12 rankings.

ESPNU broadcast the match, making it the first time TCU volleyball has appeared on an ESPN network.

The Horned Frogs have yet to beat the Longhorns in volleyball. In the five meetings between the two, UT is 5-0.

TCU will play Texas Tech next in Lubbock on Nov. 7.
