College students seem to have a reliance on caffeine to get them through lectures and late night study sessions, but there are healthier alternatives to power through the day.

Women’s golf earns spot in NCAA Central Regional

Women%E2%80%99s+golf+earns+spot+in+NCAA+Central+Regional

The women’s golf team earned an at-large bid Monday for its 18th straight NCAA postseason appearance.

The Frogs will enter the Central Regional as the 15th seed.

The 18 consecutive NCAA postseason appearances rank second at TCU behind the the men’s golf team (23).

Eight teams and two individual golfers will advance to the NCAA Championship May 21-24 in Athens, Ga. TCU has reached the championship four of the last six seasons.

The 24-team field includes top-seed Duke, host Oklahoma, Florida, Washington, Arizona State, UC Davis, Texas Tech, NC State, Michigan State, Iowa State, SMU, Campbell, Coastal Carolina, Wake Forest, Gonzaga, Indiana, UTSA, Mississippi State, Wisconsin, Lamar, Illinois State, Detroit and Butler. 

The tournament will begin May 9 at the Jimmie Austin OU Golf Course in Norman, Okla.
