The football team didn’t miss a beat coming off another bye week. The Frogs obliterated SMU 56-0 to remain unbeaten heading into conference play next weekend.

For the first time in program history, the volleyball team defeated Iowa State. Solid play on offense and defense carried the team to a 3-1 (25-15, 18-25, 30-28, 25-16) win. This was also the first conference win of the season for the Frogs.

The swimming and diving team placed first in 12 events on route to a 179-121 victory. Teammates and sisters, Lyndsie and Emily Gibson, accounted for five of those wins.

TCU shot the lone sub-par round of the day at the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate played at the UNM Championship Course. The 2-under 286 was enough to move the team into fourth place as the three-day event concluded.

The men’s and women’s cross country teams each took fifth place at the Ken Garland Invitational in Denton, Texas. The men were only 0.4 seconds away from a fourth place finish and the women cut it even closer to fourth as they finished 0.2 seconds behind.
