    This story has been updated.

The TCU student, who told police Sunday she was sexually assaulted, was attacked early Saturday morning, according to Fort Worth police.

According to the report, the assault occurred on Saturday between 2:15 a.m. and 9:40 a.m.

Police reported being called to John Peter Smith Hospital Sunday evening, where the woman was being treated.

According to the TCU crime alert, the female student was sexually assaulted by an acquaintance in an on-campus residential hall.

The acquaintance is described as a 19-year-old black male with short hair. He is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 160 pounds, according to the email.

The crime alert also urged students to “call the police and seek medical attention immediately” if they are sexually assaulted.

Neither Fort Worth police nor TCU police have disclosed the woman’s name.
