  • Reverend Paul Massingill spoke to the congregation. He said Ash Wednesday “reminds us of our deepest need for God.”

  • Sophomore Rebekah Stutheit played “Be Thou My Vision” after the ashes were distributed.

  • Ashes were distributed to TCU students and staff members during the service.

  • Robert Carr Chapel held services at 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

The Robert Carr Chapel hosted Ash Wednesday services to mark the first day of Lent. TCU students, faculty and staff received blessed ashes and heard from The Rev. Paul Massingill, a pastor at United Methodist Church and director of the TCU Wesley Foundation.
