TCU volleyball’s incoming recruiting class hauled in a national ranking for the second consecutive season. The class is ranked No. 24 ranking in PrepVolleyball.com’s Top 30 Collegiate Recruiting Classes that was released this week. Earning their first top-30 ranking last year, the Horned Frogs are one of three Big 12 schools in the rankings along with Texas, who was the top recruiting class, and Iowa State, ranked at No. 17. Two Texans, two Californians, and a signee from Nebraska comprise TCU’s 2017 class. “Our 2017 class is built with very talented volleyball players in each position, respectively,” Director of Volleyball Jill Kramer said. “Each of them will compliment our roster very well. Our ability to continue to recruit student-athletes of such a high caliber can be attributed to many things, but a couple of the biggest factors are our vibrant TCU community and strong fan support, so thank you to our Frog Family. This ranking belongs to all of you.” Here’s the complete listing of the Horned Frog’s incoming players: Berklie Baker, 5-9 libero, Trinity Christian (Euless, Texas); Allye Beth Deaton, 6-1 OH, Midway (Waco, Texas); Dani Dennison, 5-7 libero, Edison (Huntington Beach, California); Tori Dilfer, 5-10 S, Valley Christian (San Jose, California); Sarah Swanson, 6-2 MB, Elkhorn South (Elkhorn, Nebraska).
