A club is bringing Christian women together at TCU and colleges around the country.

Equestrian earns No. 6 seed for Nationals

TCU equestrian earned the No. 6 team seed at the National Collegiate Equestrian Association Championship.

The first rounds of events begin April 18, with semifinals taking place April 20 and event finals will be April 21 and all events will take place in Waco, Texas at the Extraco Events Center.

The Frogs are seeded between rivals No. 5 SMU and No. 7 Baylor, the latter who they defeated at the Big 12 Championship.

The Frogs will start April 19 against No. 3 Oklahoma State. With a victory, the Frogs will the face winner of No. 2 Auburn and No. 7 Baylor in the semifinals later that day. The team championship match is scheduled for the last day of competition, April 21.

The national championship now includes a team-seeded bracket for each of the four disciplines. The Frogs are set to participate in all four disciplines with their highest seed in Horsemanship at fifth. Event rankings are determined by regular season head-to-head competition statistics.

The equestrian team has advanced to the semifinals in each of the last two national championships when there were 12 teams competing.
