At Syracuse, she focused on stabilizing the college of engineering by reducing expenses, expanding revenue and engaging university leaders to carry out practices involving budget plans, academic strategies and advancement plans.

Dahlberg has a proven track record of success, with an emphasis on research and recruiting high-achieving students, Chancellor Victor Boschini said in a campus-wide email. Boschini also noted that she reallocated $50 million at Syracuse that stabilized the College of Engineering.
