Students who have allergies and dietary restrictions have more campus food options following the opening of East End Dining, located in Gutierrez Hall.
Magnolia Zero7, stationed in King Family Commons and now Gutierrez Hall, is the primary restaurant focused on catering to students with dietary restrictions and food allergies.
Providing fresh breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, Magnolias Zero7 is always soy, egg, wheat/gluten, shellfish, dairy and tree nut/peanut free.

In addition to the allergen-free food station, Gutierrez Hall also features a deli, grill, salad and pasta station that all have various allergy-friendly options.
Raegan Bruhl, a sophomore business major, has a dairy and gluten allergy and has a difficult time finding places to eat on campus. Before Gutierrez Hall opened, she said she was disappointed with the lack of options on campus for those with dietary restrictions.
“I have loved Gutierrez Hall so far because of all the different options they have that I have not been able to find anywhere else,” Bruhl said. “The number of options available at Gutierrez Hall is so amazing, and I think all dining halls on campus should strive for that.”

Kate Shaw, a sophomore business major, said that the new dining hall has been a huge game changer when it comes to dining and food options on campus.
“Magnolia Zero7 by itself is very small and is very restricted, but Gutierrez Hall provides such a wide variety,” Shaw said.
Gutierrez Hall is open Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday through Sunday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
