Linh Hung is reshaping fashion

Founder Taylor Nguyen models a Linh Hung design made for the Triangle shape — crafted to celebrate curves and redefine the fit standard.

Founded by TCU student Taylor Nguyen, this bold new brand is leaving outdated sizing behind to honor real women’s shapes, not shrink them.

It’s a familiar moment — two people, same size, same weight, try on the same top. Yet on one, the fit flatters; on the other, it falls flat.

The discrepancy can feel personal, even disheartening. But the truth is, it’s not the body that’s wrong — it’s the clothes.

Linh Hung was born out of frustration with the one-shape-fits-all approach dominating the industry. Nguyen created Linh Hung for women who’ve felt unseen by standard sizing — to shift fashion’s focus from size to shape.

Each piece is crafted with precision to complement, not constrain. Linh Hung embraces four core body shapes to ensure fit is about honoring proportions:

Triangle: Smaller chest and waist, larger hips. Designed to enhance curves and create a balanced silhouette.
Inverted Triangle: Larger chest, smaller waist and hips. Softens the upper body while maintaining structure.
Rectangle: Evenly balanced chest, waist and hips. Tailored to add definition and build natural shape.
Hourglass: Balanced chest and hips with a defined waist. Highlights curves with precision and artistry.

Each design is offered in both multiple sizes and shapes, meaning one article of clothing will be available in the four distinct fits. The first drop focuses on the triangle shape, and those who identify with it can shop now.

Designs for the other three shapes are currently in the works, being carefully created, tested and manufactured to ensure every woman feels seen in every seam.

Bringing Fashion to Life on Campus

Linh Hung recently participated in the Shaddock Marketplace, a pop-up outdoor market hosted by the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Neeley School of Business. The event showcases TCU students and alumni ventures — from handmade goods to tech startups — and gave Nguyen the opportunity to share her brand’s mission with the Horned Frog community.
