Student Government Association elections begin

Student Government Association elections are live on my.tcu.edu today.

Candidates will be available for questions at SGA’s GrillFest by the Founders Statue from 11-1 p.m. today.

At GrillFest, SGA will provide free hot dogs to the student body in an attempt to promote the elections and get the student body involved, SGA Elections and Regulations Chair Lizzy Caudill said.

Last year’s election brought in a little over 2,000 voters, according to the total votes from the 2010 ballots.

The voting polls opened at 7 a.m. this morning and will end tomorrow at noon.

Students can vote for the 2011 Student Government Association officers by logging into their my.tcu.edu account, Caudill said.

The results from the election will be announced Wednesday at 1 p.m. in Union Plaza, the bricked area in the Campus Commons.

Caudill said SGA will have a banner to unveil the names of the winners.
