Weekend sports preview

Swimming & Diving at Wyoming

The men’s and women’s swimming & diving teams will compete against Wyoming today. The program will earn its 400th win in its history with one more victory. It would also be head coach Richard Sybesma’s 400th career win, as he has been they only coach of the TCU swimming & diving team. The women’s team is 2-1 for the season, and the men’s team is 1-0.

When: 6 p.m. today

Where: Laramie, Wyo.

Volleyball at Utah

The volleyball team will play Utah Saturday after falling to Colorado State 3-0 last Saturday and after playing BYU last night. Irene Hester led the offense with 11 kills against the Rams. The loss against the Rams brought the Frogs’s record to 13-14 in season play and 4-9 in conference matches. The match against BYU was not over before press time.

When: 2 p.m. Saturday

Where: Salt Lake City

Rifle at Alaska

The rifle team will compete against Alaska after its latest victory over The Citadel last week. The team defeated the men’s team 4,693-4,372 and the women’s team 4,693-4,176. The Frogs remain undefeated for the season.

When: All day Sunday

Where: Fairbanks, Ala.
