TCU's three concert halls have full schedules during recital season. These are the people that make it all work.

Music in the 109 this week, Oct. 3-8

It’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month and you can celebrate with your fellow 109ers at local venues right outside your doorstep. George Miadis will play from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4, at Potbelly’s. Grab a sandwich, and enjoy his acoustic tunes. Later on, Big Mike’s Box of Rock will play their weekly show at 10 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4, at The Moon. Big Mike’s Box of Rock plays popular classic rock songs from the 60’s to the 90’s.

The Gibbons, Odder Moniker, and Shiloh Phoenix will play at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, at the Aardvark. During his rap performances, you can find Odder Moniker’s twin brother on stage, playing guitar. In Bluebonnet Circle, Wednesday nights are karaoke nights at Rock Bottom, so come out and show them what you’ve got.

Stephen Pearcy will play at 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7, at the Aardvark. Stephen Pearcy is the vocalist from the band, RATT, who’s first album reached America’s Top Ten. Tickets available at www.frontgatetickets.com

Both Rock cover bands, Mullet Malicia and People on Vacation will play at 11 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, at the Aardvark. If you are into Rock music from the 70’s, don’t miss out on this line-up.
