Dalton leads Bengals to victory over the Seahawks, improves record 5-2

Name: Andy Dalton
Position: Quarterback
Current Team: Cincinnati Bengals
Outcome of game: Cincinnati 34 – Seattle 12

Stats:
Completions/Attempts – 18/29
Passing Yards – 168
Touchdowns – 2
Interceptions – 2
Quarterback rating – 72.2
Analysis: Andy Dalton has now led the Bengals to a fourth straight victory as Cincinnati routed the Seahawks this weekend. Dalton threw two touchdowns including a 43 yard bomb to fellow rookie wide receiver A.J. Green.

Name: Daryl Washington
Position: Linebacker
Current Team: Arizona Cardinals
Outcome of game: Baltimore 30 – Arizona 27

Stats:
Tackles – 6
Tackles for loss – 1
Pass Defends – 1
Analysis: The Cardinals looked strong to start out the game forcing two turnovers and held the Ravens to just six points in the first half. Then the Cards collapsed in the second half, being out scored 24-3.

Name: David Hawthorne
Position: Linebacker
Current Team: Seattle Seahawks
Outcome of game: Cincinnati 34 – Seattle 12

Stats:
Tackles – 6
Analysis: Hawthorne recorded six tackles in a loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. This is turning into a long season for the Seahawks, and they are on the outside looking in racing for Stanford’s quarterback Andrew Luck.

Name: Jerry Hughes
Position: Linebacker/Defensive End
Current Team: Indianapolis Colts
Outcome of game: Tennessee 27 – Indianapolis 10

Stats:
Tackles – 1
Analysis: This season has gone from bad to worse to absolutely terrible. The Colts are starting to give their younger players a chance to show the organization what they have, and Hughes may continue to see playing time as he recorded a tackle on a play from scrimmage this week.

Name: Drew Coleman
Position: Cornerback
Current Team: Jacksonville Jaguars
Outcome of game: Houston 24 – Jacksonville 14

Stats:
Tackles – 1
Analysis: Coleman didn’t have a chance to contribute a lot in the pass defense this week as the Texans ran the ball 39 times with 33 of those touches going to Arian Foster. Teams have proven that it’s easier to run the ball than to pass against the Jags, and this could mean less playing time for Coleman going forward.
