Mardi Gras celebrations were in full swing at TCU's Market Square on Tuesday.

The event included traditional fat Tuesday foods, a live band, decorations and a photo booth. Students with a meal plan could attend the event free of charge from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

"I think the students had a great time," Kelly Raw, marketing manager for TCU Dining Services.

"I think the band got everybody involved and the culinary team did a great job preparing some nice Mardi Gras themed food for everybody. I think it went great. I saw a lot of smiling faces," Raw said.

The next big event for Market Square will be a Karaoke Night in Market Square on March 14.
