Teachers and parents of Lily B. Clayton Elementary School came together Friday for the school’s “Artology” Auction Dinner at the TCU Brown-Lupton University Union.
The fundraisng event included a live and silent auction. Attendees bid on items from jewelry and art to an iPod Touch and a student’s chance for an off-campus lunch with a teacher.
The school’s goal was to raise over $40,000 for classroom technology, academic resources, teacher training, art and music programs, new books, supplies and much more Auction Chair Laura Thomas said.
