COVID-19 impacted Sharpe's first year, but he didn't let that hold him back from achieving so much as a Horned Frog.

Video: TCU hosts 18th annual Easter egg hunt

Families of the Fort Worth community welcomed April at the TCU 18th Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday.

The egg hunt was a joint effort of the TCU Alumni Association, the Fort Worth Young Alumni Board and the TCU Student Foundation.

Volunteers stuffed and placed 17,000 eggs across Sadler lawn. The eggs were filled with candy, toys and golden tickets.There were 12 golden ticket eggs for each age category making up a total of 36 golden ticket prizes.

About 5,000 people attended the Easter egg hunt. The event also included activities such as face painting, balloon making, and pictures with SuperFrog and Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny.
