COVID-19 impacted Sharpe's first year, but he didn't let that hold him back from achieving so much as a Horned Frog.

TCU has the No. 1 scoring defense in the big 12, holding teams to 13.2 points per game. The Frogs also have the only player in the country, Skye Dawson, ranked in the top 15 for both punt and kickoff return yards.

B.J. Catalon, running back, freshman

B.J. Catalon rushed for 86 yards on 13 carries against Iowa State. He also had 19 receiving yards. The Houston native has played in every game for the Frogs this season and has gained 33.6 yards per contest on the ground. He is second on the team with 36 rushing attempts behind Matthew Tucker (52).  The Frogs are averaging 155.8 rushing yards per game.

Joel Hasley, linebacker, sophomore

Joel Hasley leads the Frogs with 37 tackles this season. Twenty-two of those tackles were unassisted. He also recorded a team-high 19 tackles against Big 12 opponents this season. Hasley has become a leader on a defense that takes on the second-ranked offense in the nation this week in Baylor. He had seven tackles against Iowa State last week along with a pass breakup. The Aledo native appeared on special teams against Baylor last year.

Skye Dawson, punt returner, senior

Skye Dawson ranks No. 9 nationally in punt returns with 17.4 yards per return. He is also in the top 11 nationally for kickoff returns. The Mesquite native averages 30.2 yards per return. He gained a season-high 168 yards on five kickoff returns against the Cyclones last week. Dawson, who also plays wide receiver, has totaled 458 all-purpose yards.
