The investigation into a sexual assault that occurred on Sept. 9 is still ongoing, said officer Sharron Neal of the Fort Worth Police Department.

The incident was listed as an "acquaintance assault" on the TCU Police's Daily Crime Log and Fire Report.

Details of the investigation were not released given the state of the investigation, said Neal.

TCU Police are not investigating the assault as was previously reported because it occurred off campus, Sgt. Kelly Ham of the TCU Police Criminal Investigative Division said.

In a phone statement Neal said, “[with regards to] sexual assault victims, we do not release any information on them for their protection. We do not release who we’re pursuing. All I can tell you is that the investigation is an ongoing investigation.”
