COVID-19 impacted Sharpe's first year, but he didn't let that hold him back from achieving so much as a Horned Frog.

Campus-wide power outage follows car crash

Campus-wide power outage follows car crash

Power was knocked out to most of TCU early Saturday morning following a fiery car crash on Bellaire Drive, adjacent to the football practice field.

Crews began working to restore power shortly after the crash and full power was restored by 7:15 a.m.

The crash resulted in a fire that was put out by about 2:20 a.m. The 2010 4-door Acura was hauled off by a wrecker at 2:35 a.m.

According to police on the scene, there were no injuries. When officers arrived, they said the vehicle was abandoned and the car was engulfed in flames.

Milton Daniel, Clark and King Residence Halls, as well as Sadler and Reed Halls did not suffer a power outage. The Greek, including Brachman Hall, and Amon G. Carter Stadium also remained with power.

Electronic access into residence halls was still available as card readers remained online.
