TCU Football announced its early season game times and TV plans Tuesday morning in a press release from TCU Athletics.

The Horned Frog football team will begin its 2013 season with an Aug. 31 match versus LSU set to kickoff at 8 p.m. on ESPN from Cowboys Stadium in Arlington.

The next game against Southeastern Louisiana, the team’s first home appearance of the season, will be televised on FOX Sports Network on Sept. 7 at 11 a.m.

The Horned Frogs will travel to Lubbock for their Sept. 12 Big 12 opener, which will air on ESPN, at 6:30 p.m.

Nine players from the Big 12’s top defense last season are among the 15 starters who will return for the 2013 season.

Fall camp will open on July 31, while the first practice is set for Aug. 1.
