The TCU women's volleyball team will play against 22 former Frogs in an Alumni Match on Saturday.

This match will be the second and final preseason scrimmage for the 2013-2014 volleyball team composed of nine returners and eight newcomers.

Recent graduates Megan Munce, sisters Irene and Kristen Hester, Katelyn Blackwood, Kourtney Edwards and Lauren Otto highlight the alumni roster.

Those six graduates started on the 2009 team that earned TCU's first berth in the NCAA Championship.

TCU opened its season with a Purple and White Scrimmage on Aug. 17. Team White took the 3-1 (21-25, 25-13, 25-23, 25-23) win over Team Purple.

Yvonne Igodan, a senior middle blocker recently named to the 2013 Preseason All-Big 12 Team, led Team White to the victory with 18 kills, two errors and a .457 hitting percentage.

Sophomore outside hitter Macy Capen and sophomore setter Alexia Heist both finished the match with double-doubles. Capen recorded 14 kills and 11 digs and Heist chipped in 28 assists and 10 digs.

The match is set to start at 11 a.m. in the University Recreation Center and admission is free for all fans.
