TCU women’s soccer continues its three-game homestand Friday against Iowa State.

The Cyclones (8-7-2, 2-3-1) earned their second conference win in their last match against Baylor with a goal scored off the foot of senior midfielder Emily Goldstein. Goldstein buried the golden goal in the first overtime, sending Iowa State to a victory against the ranked Bears.

TCU (5-8-3, 1-4-1) will look to freshman forward Michelle Prokof to ignite the Frogs offense, which was held silent in its last match against Oklahoma. Prokof leads TCU in scoring this year.

The Frogs will also rely on redshirt junior keeper Vittoria Arnold to continue her streak of impressive play. Arnold has been difficult to score on all season, allowing only 1.37 goals per game with 55 saves on the year.

TCU will have to start the game better and come out playing with more energy, head coach Eric Bell said. The team looked flat in the opening half of its previous match against OU, resulting in a 1-0 loss to the visiting Sooners.

The game kicks off at 7 p.m. at Garvey-Rosenthal Stadium.
