Frogs drill three homers, win sixth straight on Friday night

The TCU baseball team extended their win streak to six Friday night, beating Kansas 5-2 in the first of three contests with the Jayhawks.

Junior first baseman Kevin Cron drilled two of the Frogs’ three home runs in the win. Cron has hit a team-high four home runs this season.

With the win, TCU improves to 21-12 overall and 6-4 in the Big 12. Kansas falls to 21-14 overall and 5-5 in the Big 12 following the loss.

The Frogs continue their three-game series with KU Saturday afternoon. First pitch is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. from Lawrence, Kan.
