Slideshow: JunkerVal hosts two-year anniversary celebration on Bluebonnet Circle

JunkerVal customers enjoyed snacks and refreshments as they celebrated the store’s second anniversary Saturday on Bluebonnet Circle.

Valerie Arnett, owner of JunkerVal, and her dog, Beckett, welcomed customers as they came into the junque shop which carries a variety of unique and vintage jewelry, antiques and recycled merchandise.

“I’m happy with the turnout,” Arnett said.

Arnett said she wanted to show her appreciation for her customers by having the two-year anniversary celebration.

Chuck Robertson, a friend of Arnett’s, sang and played his guitar in the afternoon outside the store to attract more customers to come inside.

JunkerVal, located at 3458 Bluebonnet Circle in the 109, is open Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
