An estimated 1,659 students are expected to graduate during Saturday’s Spring Commencement ceremony.

Of all degree candidates, 1,399 will receive bachelor’s degrees, 17 will receive double degrees and one will receive a triple degree. An estimated 226 graduate students will receive master’s degrees and 34 doctoral candidates will receive their Ph.D. Latin Honors will be awarded to 525 students, including five students with a 4.0 GPA.

There will be 1,159 graduates from Texas and 441 graduates representing 42 other states. Eighty international students will be graduating from a total of 29 different countries.

Chancellor Victor Boschini will deliver the commencement address. The TCU Commencement Band will perform under the direction of Bobby R. Francis, Brian Youngblood and Jeremy Strickland.

This is the first time Commencement will be held in the new Amon G. Carter Stadium. In the case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved to the Champions Club inside the stadium. Spectators cannot enter the Champions Club due to space limitations, but can watch a live broadcast.

Gates will open at 8 a.m. and the ceremony will begin at 9 a.m.
