Womens soccer continues winning streak with victory over Sam Houston

TCU women’s soccer team continues its winning streak after a 3-1 victory over the Sam Houston State Bearkats on Sunday night.

According to GoFrogs.com, even with the Horned Frogs nine shots on goal, the game remained scoreless until the second half.

Freshman Emma Heckendorn got the Frogs on the scoreboard when she scored off a ball from Michelle Prokof, making the score 1-0.

Five minutes later, Heckendorn took advantage of a corner kick and put the Frogs at a 2-0 lead.

Freshman Kela Gray delivered the third goal for the Frogs in the 68th minute of the game. Gray finished the ball off of an assist from junior Bobbi Clemmer.

The team is now 5-3 this season. The Frogs face SMU at home on Friday night at 7 p.m.
