The university has scheduled a power outage from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, according to an e-mail sent by the Office of Housing & Residence Life.
According to the e-mail, the outage will affect most of the west side of campus, including residence halls, but will not affect Worth Hills.
The outage was scheduled to repair and assess damage caused by an unexpected power outage Nov. 4.
Card swipe access to residence halls will be disabled during the outage, but students can ask the resident assistant on duty to open the door for them if they leave the building, according to the e-mail.
The outage is scheduled to begin after classes recess for the Thanksgiving holiday. The Brown-Lupton University Union and the University Recreation Center will remain open as scheduled.
- The Brown-Lupton University Union and Union Grounds will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- 1873 Cafe & Grill will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Market Square will be closed as planned Nov. 24.
- The University Recreation Center will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 24.
