Former running back Ed Wesley was not picked up in Thursday's NFL Supplemental Draft.
Cleveland Brown's second round selection, former Baylor and University of Utah's wide reciever Josh Gordon was the only pick in the draft. Wesley, much like the other entrants in the draft, are now free agents in the NFL market.
Mark Cohen, director of athletics media relations confirmed Wesley's departure from the university in May for "family reasons," according to reports.
Wesley appeared in 10 games with nine starts in the 2011 season. With 726 rushing yards, Wesley was second on the team and tied for second with six rushing scores.
Wesley, a Honorable-mention All-Mountain West selection was also named to the Maxwell Award Watch List and the Doak Walker Award Watch List after his 2010 season.
