TCU's football game at Texas this season will be on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 22, with a 6:30 p.m. kickoff on ESPN.
TCU will play on Thanksgiving for the first time since a 15-6 win at SMU on Nov. 29, 1928.
The Horned Frogs open their debut season as a Big 12 member Saturday when they host Grambling State at 6 p.m. This will be the Frogs' first game at the new Amon G. Carter Stadium after its $164 million rebuild.
TCU and Texas will meet for the first time since 2007 and just the second time since the dissolution of the Southwest Conference after the 1995 campaign.
