In an e-mail sent to TCU faculty and staff, Physical Plant Assistant Director for Resources David Mestemaker wrote that the City of Fort Worth has scheduled a water shutdown for Oct. 4 in order to repair a leaking water main.
The shutdown will take place from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m.
Mestemaker wrote that facilities east of University Drive will not be affected by this shut off, but facilities on the west side of University Drive, including freshman residence halls Colby, Waits, Foster, Shirley, Moncrief, Clark, and upperclassmen residence halls Carter, Wright, Samuelson, King, and Tom Brown/Pete Wright, among other buildings, will be affected.
Craig Allen, director of housing and residence life, wrote in an e-mail to campus residents that the event should have little impact on TCU resident students.
Students should call Rex Bell (x7102) or the Physical Plant Control Center (x7954) with any questions, Mestemaker wrote.
