Wide receiver Josh Boyce earned Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week honors for his performance in TCU’s 39-38 double-overtime victory over West Virginia.
Boyce had six receptions for 180 yards and two touchdowns including a 94-yard touchdown catch and run with 1:28 left to force overtime. His diving catch on the 2-point conversion gave the Frogs the win in the second overtime.
The Copperas Cove native also had a 31-yard touchdown.
Boyce’s 94-yard touchdown catch was the third longest play in TCU history. He also had the fourth-longest play on a 93-yard scoring reception from Andy Dalton in a victory over Utah in 2010.
Boyce recorded the sixth 100-yard game of his career and a career-high 180 receiving yards.
