Josh Boyce, wide receiver, junior
Josh Boyce had a career-high 180 receiving yards along with two touchdowns and the winning two-point conversion against West Virginia. He tied the game with 1:28 left on a 94-yard catch-and-run. Boyce also had a 20-yard kickoff return against the Mountaineers. The Copperas Cove native leads the Frogs with 687 receiving yards and seven touchdowns on the season.
Derrick Kindred, safety, freshman
Derrick Kindred earned his first career start against West Virginia. He recorded a team-high 10 tackles and broke up two passes. The San Antonio native has appeared in eight games and has 15 tackles on the season. Kindred is one of 16 true freshman to play for the Frogs this season.
Stansly Maponga, defensive end, junior
Stansly Maponga played for the first time in three weeks against West Virginia. He sustained an ankle injury against Baylor. The Carrollton native recorded three tackles against the Mountaineers. Maponga had 12 tackles and forced two fumbles over the first six games. The preseason All-Big 12 selection also has three quarterback hurries and a sack this season.
