all because I have a lot of good friends here.
It’s good to play with them and go out Saturday
and do something I love to do.
Head football coach Gary Patterson said Andrus is viewed as a returning starter at the tight end position despite playing behind Cody McCarty last season.
Patterson said Andrus is expected to be an integral part of an offense that features only two players with no starting experience.
“Chad Andrus is a guy that a lot of people don’t – he’s one of our team leaders here – that a lot of people don’t talk about,” Patterson said.
