College GameDay to broadcast at BYU game

ESPN announced Sunday that its College Football GameDay show will be broadcasting this week from Provo, Utah before the TCU vs. BYU game. The show’s set will be on campus at BYU and will spotlight the game as the top game this weekend.

The game, however, will not appear on ESPN. It will be broadcast on Versus at 6:30 p.m. Central Standard Time.

The program spotlights one game each week and films its show on location every Saturday of the college football season. They also break down the rest of the high interest games that will be played on Saturday and make predictions on each game.

College GameDay features host Chris Fowler, analyst and former coach Lee Corso, analyst and former quarterback Kirk Herbstreit and contributor and former player Desmond Howard.

The feature of the show is Corso’s prediction of the on-location game in which he puts on the mascot head of the team he picks in front of the fans that have gathered to watch the show.

More information on the show and this weekend’s broadcast in Provo can be found on the College GameDay Web site, www.espn.com/college-football/gameday.
