Westcliff Elementary held its Student Council Elections on Tuesday, Oct. 19 and elected five new officers.
According to Suzanne Renfrow, counselor at Westcliff Elementary: Two hundred and eighty students in grades 2-5 moved through voting booths, completed ballots and received ³I Voted² stickers.
The new Student Council Officers for Westcliff Elementary are: President-Dan Heo, Vice-President-Erik Salcedo, Treasurer-Valentin Orta, Secretary-Yesenia
Galindo and Historian-Jennifer Chavez.
Ten classes held elections in their classroom for Homeroom Representative and elected homeroom representatives.
The first meeting of the new student council will be November 5 at 3:00 p.m. and the Student Council will be planning the Canned Food Drive.
