Horned Frogs take on Chicago State

The Frogs begin their final three-game stretch of the non-conference schedule Tuesday, Dec. 28 against Chicago State.

TCU, 8-4 overall on the campaign, hopes to continue its successful run at home this season. The Frogs are 6-1 at the DMC, including a 96-79 victory over Northwestern State in their most recent outing Dec. 21.

The Frogs are outscoring opponents by an average of 14.6 ppg at home while shooting 51.2% overall from the field.

Following its game against Chicago State, TCU concludes its non-league action on the road Dec. 30 at Tulsa and Jan. 2 at Rice. Victories in the final three non-conference games will give TCU its best 15-game start since 2000-01.

Chicago State enters Tuesday’s game with a 3-12 overall record. The Demons are 0-8 on the road so far this season. The contest marks the first all-time between the Frogs and Cougars.

TCU’s matchup with CSU will be broadcast live on the radio throughout the Metroplex on both 1460 AM KCLE and 88.7 FM KTCU with Jeff Williams and former Frog standout Herb Stephens (1972-74) serving as the play-by-play team.

The Frogs and Cougars are set to tip off at 7 p.m. at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum.

Live stats and a link to an Internet radio feed will be available via TCU’s official athletics website, GoFrogs.com.
