The Neeley School of Business is partnering with the North Texas Super Bowl Host Committee, and the National Football League to hold a workshop that gives emerging entrepreneurs in the Fort Worth community information on becoming successful entrepreneurs.
According to a press release, the Super Bowl XLV Playbook Workshop Series III, Taking Your Business to the Next Level, will feature entrepreneur specialists from the North Texas area. The specialists will include Stacy Landreth Grau, associate professor of professional practice in marketing, and Raymond Smilor, professor of professional practice.
Smilor said the workshop will help people identify where opportunities lie and show them ways to build on them.
“It’s going to provide practical insight, hands on information, tools, and techniques to help entrepreneurs grow and expand their enterprises,” he said.
Smilor will hold a session, “Valued Centered Enterprising”, that focuses on values becoming a critical part of business success, he said.
“We need to find ways to implement those values in marketing, employment relations, and other aspects in the organization,” he said.
The cost to attend the workshop is $19.95 and includes one meal, parking, and other materials needed for the sessions, according to the press release.
