Men’s tennis

vs. Texas A&M-Corpus Christi

Men’s tennis will play Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at home on Saturday after the Frogs defeated both the University of Texas at Arlington and University of Texas-Pan American 6-1 last weekend. The Islanders dropped their last match at New Mexico 7-0. The Islanders will face Baylor in Waco on Friday before arriving in Fort Worth to play TCU Saturday.

Women’s basketball at Air Force

The Lady Frogs (14-7, 6-1 MWC) travel to Air Force Academy (6-13, 1-5 MWC) after dropping their first game in 2011 to New Mexico, 65-54, Wednesday night. It was TCU’s first MWC loss and first loss at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum since Dec. 22. TCU leads the all-time series 15-1.

Women’s tennis at St. Mary’s

The women’s tennis team will compete against St. Mary’s College of California in the opening-round match-up of the ITA Kickoff Weekend. TCU enters the weekend as the No. 3 seed while St. Mary’s is slotted No. 2. The winner of Friday’s match will meet either California or North Texas in the championship match Saturday. The losing teams will play a consolation match.

Rifle at UTEP

TCU’s rifle team is riding a 19-match winning streak going into Sunday’s match at the University of Texas at El Paso. The Frogs scored a 4,662-4,610 victory over the Air Force Academy last Sunday. The Miners posted a 4,584 score at Murray State. A win-loss decision was unavailable after UTEP’s last match.
