Joe Weik homered twice to complement a strong outing by starting pitcher Erik Miller and Texas Christian rolled to a 10-3 win on Saturday over Oklahoma State.
TCU (32-14) scored three runs in the top of the first and never trailed. Weik’s first homer, a two-run shot, in the fourth inning made it 5-1. He led off the seventh inning with another home run.
Miller (5-6) allowed two runs over 7 1/3 innings for the Horned Frogs. Oklahoma State starter Brad Propst (7-1) struggled in his first loss of the season, allowing six runs and eight hits in 6 1/3 innings.
Jason Coats and Taylor Featherston each had two RBIs for TCU. Luis Uribe and Hunter Bailey each went 2-for-4 for Oklahoma State (31-14).
The nonconference series will conclude Sunday.
