TCU pitcher Erik Miller signed with the Cincinnati Reds Wednesday and will not return for his senior season.
Miller was taken in the 31st round of the Major League Baseball Amateur Draft earlier this month.
Miller finished his career at TCU with a record of eight wins and 10 losses, and an ERA of 4.61. He struck out 113 batters in 132.2 innings of work, while only walking 38.
After only pitching 53 innings in his first two years, Miller saw extended action in the 2011 season.
Miller appeared in 26 games with the Frogs in 2011, started a career high 9 times, tallying seven wins in the process in 79.2 innings of action.
Miller is the first non-senior to sign with a professional team.
