Slideshow: 109 residents in Westcliff West celebrate Independence Day

109 residents in Westcliff West celebrated Independence Day with a parade that featured the Fort Worth Fire Department truck, a vintage red fire truck, military jeeps, the Corvette Club, the Volkswagen Club, a tractor, and various volunteer neighborhood floats. Parents and children lined the streets of the parade route and cheered as they swept up the candy thrown. The parade was held at 10 a.m. and started and ended at First Congregational United Church of Christ with a route that went down Traillake, turning left onto Alton and weaving through the Westcliff West neighborhood.
