TCU football starts No. 15 in preseason poll

TCU+football+starts+No.+15+in+preseason+poll

The loss of some key players apparently has coaches doubting whether or not TCU can match last year's undefeated season. TCU football will start No. 15 in the USA Today Coaches Poll this season.

They finished last season No. 2 after beating Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl.

Mountain West Conference newcomer Boise State will start the year ranked No. 7.

Oklahoma starts the year on top, followed by Alabama, Oregon, LSU, and Florida State.

After losing several key players, including Heisman Trophy winner Cam Newton, reigning national champion Auburn dropped to No. 19.

Across the state, Texas A&M opens up at No. 9 and Texas jumps back into the polls at No. 24.

The USA Today Coaches Poll factors into the BCS Standings.
