Presentations given by new sororities

As TCU Panhellenic Council looks to expand its community, four sororities will be hosting presentations over this week and next week in the Brown-Lupton University Union Ballroom to share information about their organizations. A committee of Panhellenic students and advisers will select two of the four organizations to join the TCU Greek community. The presentations, which began Monday, help in the selection process and are open to all of campus to attend. This week, Delta Phi Epsilon presented on Monday and Alpha Gamma Delta will present Wednesday from 3-4:30 p.m. Next week, Phi Mu will present Monday from 3-4:30 p.m. and Alpha Omicron Pi will present on Wednesday from 3-4:30 p.m.
Delta Phi Epsilon
Founded: March 17, 1917 at New York University Law School

Founded: May 30, 1904 at the home of Dr. Wellesley Perry Coddington, a professor at Syracuse University

Mission: An international fraternity for women that exists to provide opportunities for personal development through the spirit of sisterhood.

Founded: January 4, 1852 at Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia

Alpha Omicron Pi
Founded: January 2, 1897 at Barnard College on the campus of Columbia University in N.Y.
